We have always wanted to shoot a wedding where the bride wears cowboy boots. We think there is something sublime about a white wedding dress juxtaposed against the hard leather of a pair of cowboy boots…especially a pair of boots that are a little worn and tattered. So when we found out that Colleen and Micah were getting married at a horse ranch and Colleen was going to wear cowboy boots we were over the moon excited.
Oh and Colleen and Micah’s wedding was truly sublime! With the help of friends and family, they converted a friends horse ranch into a wonderland. In fact, we were truly moved and touched by how many friends and family members came together to make this day happen. When we showed up at 10:00 am everyone was hard at work prepping food, washing horses, and decorating the grounds and they didn’t stop until the lights went out. Friendship and love is such a powerful thing and Colleen and Micah’s wedding was a testament to that. So on that note… Congratulations Colleen and Micah. We love you!

Colleen and her bridesmaids arrived at the ceremony on horseback… so lovely!

Special thanks to Colleen and Micah’s friends, Katie and Kenny, for graciously opening up their ranch and home for the wedding and to Jessica for beautifully officiating the ceremony!
