We recently visited the Sacramento Railroad Museum. It had been recommend to us by several moms and nannies because of its great Thomas the Train play area. We were actually hoping the museum would become one of our “Favorite Haunts.” However, it is not going to make the list.
Okay don’t get me wrong – the play area is great and we are by no means saying don’t go. But we do HIGHLY recommend going on the weekdays and not during peak hours. We went on a Saturday and we found it to be very very busy and the air was stifling. And I mean STIFLING!!!
Claudia Mia and Natalie were also the youngest kids present. All the other kids were probably between the ages of 4-8 and if you know toddlers they have very a different set of “rules of possession” versus an older kid. As I am sure you can image, this caused for some squabbles.
Now… don’t get me wrong. We will go back to the Railroad museum, especially this summer when they do the train rides and for Polar Express!
Thank you to http://www.rookiemoms.com/toddlers-rules/ for typing this up and putting it on their website!!!
